Andreas Enger new CEO of Höegh Autoliners

Andreas Enger is named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Höegh Autoliners effective 8 September 2020.
He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and will take over from current CEO, Thor Jørgen Guttormsen. Andreas will continue to chair Posten, Norway's state owned postal service.
Following the planned succession Thor Jørgen will continue to support the company as a non-executive Director and Senior Advisor.
Andreas Enger has served as an advisor to Höegh Autoliners for more than a year and became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in September 2019. In this capacity, Andreas has worked closely with Thor Jørgen and the rest of the senior management team in updating our strategy and operating model.
Before joining Höegh Autoliners, Andreas was a partner at Deloitte, leading their Nordic strategy practice. Earlier in his career Andreas was a partner at McKinsey & Co. and subsequently held senior executive positions at Norske Skog, PGS and Peterson Packaging.
Andreas holds a MSc in Engineering Cybernetics from NTNU in Norway, and an MBA from INSEAD in France.

Höegh Autoliners confirms that at approximately 1600 local time a fire broke out aboard the vessel Höegh Xiamen on her seventh deck shortly after it completed loading operations at Blount Island, Jacksonville, USA.
